Read MoreIn many countries, medicinal plants represent a primary source of treatment by the population for many illnesses and disorders. Traditional herbal remedies have been used for centuries and plant natural products remain essential to treat major diseases, such as cancers and parasitic infections. Aromatic plants are also essential to human medicine and well being. It is thus important to protect all plants and forests from harmful pests and diseases and to preserve the biodiversity, origin and quality of plants, notably through specific legislation and regulations. Investigation on medicinal plants opens doors for collaboration between different research groups to deepen studies on this natural resource which is as much as vital as some species are in danger of extinction due to their excessive consumption by populations. These considerations provided the breeding ground for the second edition of the International Conference on Plant Natural Products that will take place on November 12th - 14th, 2024 at the Faculty of Sciences and Technologies, Beni-Mellal, Morocco. The congress will bring together experts and researchers from different countries, including twelve (12) specialists from France, Italy, Portugal and Morocco, to share their latest findings and discuss recent developments in the field of natural products research. Together with young researchers–more than forty (46) PhD students will attend-and other research professionals they will share their latest discoveries and studies on plants and natural products used to design new medicine. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to network with many professionals in the field and learn about cutting-edge research in various domains, including synthetic and computational chemistry, and pharmacology.
The Organizing Committee is delighted to invite you to participate to the conference which will feature plenary session and communication presentations. Three certificates will be awarded for the best oral communication to younger researchers participating before the event accomplished.
